The double-roll crusher adjusts the particle size of the product by moving the movable roller using shims between the rollers or by adjusting the distance between the two rollers using a turbine adjustment mechanism. A spring device serves as its safety device. When the toothed roller rotates, friction forces the ore into the crushing chamber between the two teeth or between the toothed roller and the crushing plate, where it is crushed primarily by splitting action combined with compression and breakage. The crushed product is discharged from the bottom as the toothed roller rotates. Due to its small footprint, ease of operation, and reasonable price, the double-roll crusher is widely used in the production and processing of river pebbles, coal, limestone, etc.
